Race Night DVD
A Race Night DVD is a great way to
look to raising funds. Race Night DVDs come with a range of different
packages either DIY or fully hosted. The cheapest way to run a race night
DVD event is to manage the whole thing your self. This will save you a
considerable amount of money. Running your own Race Night DVD event is very
easy we have provided loads of help and tips on what and what not to do!
Before you think about running your Race Night DVD consider this. A large
number of DVD players will not run DVD-r which is them main format that is
suppled by virtually all Race Night DVD merchants. Although many clubs think
that they will be able to use a Race Night DVD in a laptop with a video
projector this may not always work. This is a major risk! Imagine a room
full of your paying Race Night DVD customers and the things do not work! So
we would recommend rather than run your Race Night DVD event on a laptop we
would suggest that you use VHS video. This format is guaranteed to work.
Once you have decided on the format of your Race Night DVD event then you
need to consider your audience. If you have a relatively small crowded, say
35 people then you may, dependant upon the Race Night DVD venue then you may
be able to make use of a large television. Many venues that you would use
for a Race Night DVD event may well have built-in facilities that you may
well be able to take advantage of. A larger audience, for your race night
DVD event, may well require the use of a video projector. Lots of sales
organisations and many colleges may have video projectors and you should be
able to borrow one for your Race Night DVD. If you have a big venue for your
Race Night DVD then you may need to consider some additional augmentation
for the sound at your event.
Race Night DVD package, should generally come on individually sealed DVD’s.
You need to be very careful of Race Night DVD providers who supply your race
night DVD on just one DVD. This means that it is difficult to ensure that
your races are selected at random and this could create an issue with the
legal standing of your Race Night DVD event. You would be well advised to
seek legal advise on this issue to ensure that you stay one the right side
of the law with your Race Night DVD event.
Race Night DVD races have eight runners and we have a selection of both UK
and USA races all of which have English commentaries. Our UK races were
mastered in July 2005 and have fantastic multi camera views. Each of the
races has eight runners and all the horses are called by number and not by
name. This allows any race to be shown at any point in the race card.
You have several options when you use one of our Race Night DVD. You can use
real or funny money. Both Race Night DVD function in the same way but with
the funny money option you an give the people who win the most money at the
end of the evening a prize with the cash alternative they can keep their
profits.
The betting for all Race Night DVD is based upon a tote system where all of
the bets are collected and then the race is selected and the fun really
begins. Our Race Night DVD all come with real betting slips, which add a
real authenticity to your racing event.
As the experts in Race Night DVD we know that this is not the only way to
make money for your fund raising event. The most important thing is to cover
all of your Race Night DVD costs before you even get to your fundraiser. You
have the facility with our Race Night DVD to make use of your extensive
online download facilities. Included within the download section are a whole
host of useful packages: -
The programme – a word file, which allows you to generate your own, race
cards. This word file allows you to get sponsors for each race. Let us
assume that you are using one of our 8 Race Night DVD. If you could get a
sponsor for each race and charge £25 per sponsor a net income of £200. You
could get your sponsor to also put up a prize to the winning horse. You can
then sell each horse in each race for say £10. This would raise you £640.
You could let the owners of each horse name their own and therefore get them
to attend on the night of your Race Night DVD. You can also sell jockeys on
each horse at say £5 each. This would give you an income of £320 we would
suggest that if you did not have a prize for the winning jockey you could
give back half of the money, this would still give you an overall income of
£160. If you have time you can also put advertising into each race card. The
programme or race card is one of the biggest money makes for your Race Night
DVD and is usually over looked. You will need someone to put in a
significant amount of effort to make this work well but the rewards in terms
of income can be substantial. You can also use the race card as an entry
ticket, you will need a number stamp if you are worried about security but
again this is an easy way for you to keep your costs as low as possible.
Many of our customers ask why we do not supply our Race Night on DVD.
There are several reasons why we do not supply our Race Night DVD on DVD,
the main one is the same across the whole of our industry and that is the
issue of compatibility. The one thing that you cannot afford to have is a
room full of clients and your Race Night DVD not working. This is reason why
Race Night DVD are not supplied on DVD. The majority of the Race Night DVD
industry supplies DVD-r as their DVD delivery option. This is great for a
large percentage of DVD players, however the is a significant number about
20% based upon our tests that will not support this format. This means that
about 1 in 5 Race Night DVD will fail! This is an alarming number and
because of this failure rate we have taken the commercial decision to only
supply our Race Night DVD on VHS video as we can guarantee that your Race
Night DVD will function without a hitch.
